Head of a Longlegged Fly - (Condylostylus)

This beautiful Dolichopodid landed on a nearby light blue painted metal chair (the color in the background) while I was photographing a Phidippus audax jumping spider a few days ago.
Initially, I didn't even attempt to photograph the fly, as these guys are incredibly skittish, but upon noticing he was a bit more relaxed then most long-legged flies, I took a few photos.
Unfortunately I didn't get any other photos of him before he flew away, so there will be no additional photos to post today in the comments section. But don't worry - I have literally 1,000's of other arthropod macros to sort through I have taken so far this summer!
