The delightful colors of decay

I spotted this rusty, crusty and dusty abandoned industrial crane, now only attended by pigeons, on the bank of the Thames river in front of the Battersea Power Station, as I sailed slowly by on a ferryboat. Although it was somewhat hard to tell in its present state, the crane had originally sported a yellow coat of paint. Weathering and decay over many years had turned it into something looking like a multicolored work of natural art.
