Where on earth did you get those lovely desks?

  5. sean_shrum 72 months ago | reply

Mimo?!?! Did you get the touchscreen model? If so where and for how much?

  6. onefish2 72 months ago | reply

@grahammackie - the desks are from Staples of all places the company is Z something or other.

@sean_shrum - The MIMO is a touch screen model. I got it from these guys: www.thegadgeteers.com/product_mimo.html the day it was announced. I got a sweet deal.

How do you like your mimo LCD? I know it's almost impossible to get the touch-screen model now, but I've been planning on getting the non-touch one for a while now.

Codename: Emrys - Its a great little display. I plugged in it, installed the drivers and that was about it. Works great. I use an app called TotalTunes Control on the MiMO to control play/pause for iTunes. Tap the display to pause, tap again to play.

I ordered it the day it became available in the US. I got a great deal on it. I paid $180. Eventually the cost was like $225 for the 750 with the Mac touch screen drivers. I am very happy with it.

What monitor stand are you using on those?, I recently bought a stand from Custom Monitor Stands and couldnt be happier. However, your setup is looking amazing. I run a mac pro 2008 myself and just bought the aeron executive model, its in the mail, cant wait :D

  16. onefish2 63 months ago | reply

het @beatbros2010 its an ergotron triple monitor stand. Had it for about 5 years. I think I paid about $275 or $300 for it.

You will love the Aeron chair its amazing when its adjusted properly for you.
