whoa, this is cool. so deceivingly simple

Thanks Mister Jangojim, I like simple stuff a lot, I'm experimenting with the dot tone at the moment to see what I can get away with but still make the image intriguing!

I learned that doing simple stuff is often so more difficult. Showing an iconic image, the core of it. and you totally succeeded here. Can't stop looking at it ! :)
I feel like experimenting with old printing techniques now

Your stuff is great, I think it would be really interesting to see what the old printing dots do to it with your line work and all, experiment away!

it's something I want to do for a long time already, but haven't found out how yet. I know found a few tricks that might be useful. And seeing it being used so deliciously here gave me hope again :) ! thx !

so original. such a nice new way to see an apple. round. was this really printed or done in photoshop?

    12. oneedo 51 months ago | reply

Hi Kyledpoff, Photoshop and Illustrator, I'm experimenting with the dot screen and print registration at the moment. It gives a visual level of complexity that allows the image to stay simple.

that shadows on the inside of the apple is magic.

Thanks Feler, I guess it gives a limited sense of 3D-ness in an otherwise quite flat picture.
