For a yarn that normally felts if you look at it wrong, this was surprisingly hard to felt. I tried several sessions of wetting then tumbling inn hottest dryer with lots of balls/towels to agitate, then spent 1/2hour+ wetting and rubbing till my thumbs were raw just to achieve a slightly fuzzy look. Moral of the story to *keep* mal lace from felting badly, crochet with a small hook!
he also came out a lot bigger than i had planned. i was hoping for a 3 inch bear when i started, but quickly realized he was going to be at least twice that size. i like him anyway, but he's def too big for my girls to play with
