France - Day 1
Day 1 - Jet lag.
Wednesday evening we arrive in Philly. Just before takeoff a fire breaks out in one of the terminals. All flights in and out are put on hold. We sit on the runway for almost two hours while the lady sitting beside me almost has a meltdown. She's deathly afraid of take offs and landings. To lighten the mood I jokingly tell her my ipod playlist is Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Randy Rhodes era Ozzy and Stevie Ray Vaughn. My sense of humor is not appreciated. I decide not to show her my Thurmon Munson baseball card I'm carrying in my wallet.
After a 10 hour flight we arrive in Paris and hop right in the tour van for a nine hour drive to Brest, France for the first show. Keith drops off to sleep almost the second we get in the van. I'm envious. My ass hurts, I need a beer, I'm tired (yet am unable to doze off) and could care less that this shot is not in focus.
