      Nice photo. I know this plant and we even had one in our garden that grew a fruit, but I never knew they were edible.

      here I am off looking for nice plants and I get this pic in my front yard ... heh heh

      the leaves are naturally holey and the fruit takes 1 yr to ripen after blooming!

      It is interesting to notice how the veins manage to pass around the holes. Wonder how the plant decides the location and dimensions of the holes.

      Fashion desginers should be inspired by this picture and make more clothes with holes ...
