Remington Remie Scout, 1934

Another perfectly good typewriter siezed from the rodent-like claws of a keychopper. The Remie Scout was a no-frills, Depression-era economy portable made for only three years, 1932-1934. This is actually the more advanced of the four Remie Scout versions, capable of typing both upper- and lower-case, and having an enclosed keyboard. The arcing side lever lowers the typebars to lay flat for storage.
