1997: David Kenningham

David Kenningham MA (Oxon) retired in 1997 having joined as Lord Williams's School Principal in September 1985, taking over from Peter Wells. Prior to coming to LWS he'd been headmaster of Cheney School, Oxford. A physicist, he'd previously taught at Malborough, RGS High Wycombe, Whitley Abbey School, Coventry, and in Massachusetts, USA. He served in REMR and had a spell in industry.

His successor was Pat O'Shea.
