The Autumn Leaves are Turning to the Color of Rust

A few oak leaves that have already changed for the fall, backlit by the setting sun near the Cranberry Bog in Carlisle, MA.


Although the foliage is apparently near peak in Vermont and parts of New Hampshire, most of the trees around here remain green with a few beautiful exceptions. The ones that changed colors soonest are aready starting to look a bit bare.
