After the Grampians bushfires, 2006

Michael SILVER, born 1952.

Communities are on heightened alert for bushfires in times of drought. The 2006 fires in the Grampians National Park burned through approximately 130,000 hectares, or 47 per cent of the park, exacerbating the drought’s impact on native fauna.

Near Willaura, Victoria.
