Following the fenceline, 2002

Andrew CHAPMAN, born 1954.

The emotional impact of the drought on many families has been devastating, with increases in the rates of depression, divorce and suicide being widely reported. Faced with enduring drought, many families leave their properties. In 2002, sheep on Ulonga Station were being fed grain to keep them alive. The station passed into new hands in 2007 after conditions failed to improve.

Ulonga Station, One Tree, New South Wales.
