Jöle Vilnus Fs Rock
Vilnus, Lithuania, spring 2007, no, strike that, 2008. It wasn't the best place and time for a bunch of skaters trying to get photos for ads. With the police cracking down on skating and rain pissing down constantly (thank heavens for the Lowepro rain pouch), our prospects were grim - but we pulled through.
This was the most fun (and photogenic!) spot we skated - too bad it was deep in the russian ghetto. We got an hour in before getting the boot from an angry russian, who proceeded to threaten me with gardening shears as I was packing up.
Jöle slid frontside from round the bend and popped out so suave. Shot with my dearly departed Mamiya RZ67, 127mm K/L lens, on 400VC, which is a dreadful film. Flashes left and right, PW's for triggering.
