Blue Room Repose

Abandoned German Orphanage in Buffalo, NY. In the classroom - I didn't set up the shot - maybe someone else did before I got there.

Trees down, no power, detours. It was great!, fotograf.416, and 26 other people added this photo to their favorites.

@fotograf.416: Oops! My bad. Thanks for the compliment, though.

Olena, if that was on the second floor of the big building, then I was the one who moved the chair. There was something set up like this in the building attached to the boiler, but I think that was from someone else in the group.

FT: Amazing. The texture is fantastic and the colors are so vivid-- it's odd b/c the image makes you think of desperation, but the colors challenge that thought. Great shot.

Decay can be as attractive as anything a designer can come up with.

Fave, fave, fave! I just seen this in the Utata thread and fell in love with it. It has everything I like, peeling paint, an empty chair and the orange/blue combination

Just awesome, the light/shadow/detail with the cracks & pieces...'faved'!

Definately a fave. The contrast between the blue walls and the orange/brown light in the window...

Seen in a tag search. (?)
