A fisher bird.

Japanese Cormorant Phalacrocorax capillatus on the shore of ErHai in the fisherfolk's encampment. Used for fishing in the lake. The birds are bred by the fishermen; we saw nests and eggs in wicker baskets with sitting birds. Scanned from original negative.
