This morning I received an email from my wife to check our son's Facebook page. When I went there, this is what I found.
Early this morning, before heading off to work, our son, rousted his little buddy out of the house, down the road to a close-by State Park for a morning of fishing.
A little black crappie fell for a small rooster-tail and put a big smile on Wyatt's face.
When I saw that smile, the verse just flowed. A few minutes at the Photoshop bench and this is what I came away with.
This evening Wyatt and I talked about his 'morning fishing outing with Dad'. He was just bubbling with the details. It was definitely a hit.
I asked him if he saw the photo w/ the verse I wrote. He told me he did ... "Yes, Grandpa. I saw it. It was silly, but I liked it! You're so funny, Grandpa." ". )))
He told me, "Grandpa, when you come over here, don't forget your fishing pole and we'll go catch 'my fish' again. You'll like him." Oh MY! Youbetcha little buddy. I like him already!!
Can't wait. ". )
