Europe’s old nuclear power plants

This diagram shows all nuclear power plants in Europe that are 30 years or older (as of August 2015), i.e. the reactors that were connected to the grid from 1971 to 1985. The oldest nuclear power plants (40 years or more) are located in Switzerland (Mühleberg, Beznau 1+2), Belgium (Doel1), the Netherlands (Borssele 1), the United Kingdom (Wylfa 1), Spain (St. Maria de Garona) and Sweden (Ringhals 1+2, Oskarshamn 1+2).
