      Dear Sergio,04-09-11

This is in response to an article in the Bangkok Post.
As you rightly pointed out, SME’S are the driving engines of emerging economies. I would add that OEM has also the potential of becoming thriving SME enterprises.
It all depends on the energetic entrepreneurship.
Raising costs are inevitable. It is not unique to Thailand but it is a wake up call for the all SME and OEM enterprises.
There is of course a way out of this dilemma. Its called creating relevant Brand value.
Interestingly, despite the fact that consumer’s purchasing power is weakening in many parts of the world, the appetite for upgraded better quality products is steadily increasing.

Under the title: “A way out of an economic dilemma” I have written a seminar / workshop for entrepreneurs how are interested in upgrading their Brand though relevant innovation.
Having built numerous Brands in Asia, Africa and Europe, I am convinced relevant Brand value is the way out. Let me know what you think of the idea of conducting this seminar under OECD

      Best regards,
