~Katiannidae Pool Of Delights~
Thought on a lovely Spring afternoon I'd see what my Katiannidae. Genus nov. species nov. buddies were up to. So I looked under a few leaves on the evergreen shrub I find them on and every leaf had a fair few juvenile Katiannidae on them, no adults.
I also made an interesting observation, there seemed to be small craters on each leaf and they were oozing a clear liquid. I found these on every leaf I turned over and at each crater there was a Katiannidae feeding. I liked this image because you can see the Katiannidae reflected in the drop :o)
I was wondering if these craters are a natural formation or are the Katiannidae making them?
