River of gold
This is a picture of the well-known salmon river and waterfall Målselvfossen in Northern Norway. In the old days, lords from Great Britain came here for fishing large salmon. Today the pool below the waterfall is rented by one of Norway's richest businessmen.
This picture is taken with a Nikon D200 camera, a Nikkor AI 20mm f/3.5 lens, and a Hoya R72 infrared filter. Exposure time was 30 seconds and the aperture f/8. White balance was preset on some green foliage.
This just might be my best photograph so far. I have accordingly worked very carefully with the postprocessing. That was done entirely in the Nikon Capture NX raw converter. This picture has not been photoshopped at all.
Thank you for all the invites, awards and generous comments!!!
