He just needs Grace Jones and Kareem Abdul Jabar and this would make for a wicked trippy flick. He will always be Conan to me. *sigh* Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you how mondo excellent the build is. Five stars as usual.

@andrew: Thanks again, as always, for the kind publicity! So is "things of this nature" a reference to something? I couldn't figure it out. Or are you just being mysterious? Your hovercraft is full of what? :)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. If this put a smile on your face, or caused you to suffer a temporary loss of bladder control, then my mission was a success!

I'm gratified folks appreciated the flag, it was quite tricky to come up with a design and method that worked. I actually spent quite a while staring at actual flags in churches or under freeways (don't ask) to figure out how to approach it. I was hoping to do a California state flag as well (like you see at actual press conferences) but had to scale things back in the end. Maybe I'll add that for BrickCon, eh? :)

^ Consider this a resounding success. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to Bricks by the Bay to see this. (and other cool lego creations)

It's just one of his verbal tics (SNL made fun of it repeatedly early on), but I'm having a hard time finding any recent references -- perhaps he's dialed it back a bit.

Ah, I've never watched SNL which is why I didn't pick on this. :-)
