Thonen cockatiel 9195
I shot some portraits earlier this summer of a friend's cockatiels. I tried to do them in the style of Joel Sartore's Biodiversity Project.
This was my first time shooting animals, and my first time shooting with my new AB800's and dual 48" octos. It turned out OK, all things considered. I learned a lot, that's for sure.
Strobist: Two AB800's in 48" octos. One 90 degrees to camera right, the other 45 degrees to camera left. Both at camera height & roughly the same power. Black velvet provided the backgrounds.
