The 23rd Annual National Service-Learning Conference

The 23rd Annual National Service-Learning Conference® and youthrive PeaceJam Leadership Conference was in Minneapolis, Minnesota April 11-14, 2012. Over 1800 participants from 20 countries convened for the largest gathering of youth and practitioners involved in the service-learning movement. The conference featured over 150 workshops and featured speakers included Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi, and President and CEO, Harlem Children’s Zone, Inc. Geoffrey Canada, along with Minnesota congresswoman Betty McCollum, and US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.
