2012 Missouri Academy commencement

Dr. Rosemarie T. Nassif, special advisor to the assistant secretary for postsecondary education with the U.S. Department of Education, delivers the commencement address during the Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics and Computing's May 26, 2012, commencement ceremony. The graduating class, known as the Guardians, was the 11th of the Missouri Academy and consisted of 53 students. While the Missouri Academy replaces the junior and senior years of traditional high school, students are enrolled in a curriculum consisting of all college coursework taught by professors at Northwest. Graduates earn an associate of science degree as well as a high school diploma. (Photo by Darren Whitley/Northwest Missouri State University)
