On the border with India, for the last 56 years a flag lowering ceremony has taken place in Wagah, Pakistan.

For a few breif minutes at the end of the day the gates between India and Pakistan are flung wide and soldiers from both countries exchange handshakes in high ceremony.

On both sides of the border the citizens bolster thier respective sides with cheers and good natured nationalistic slogans. The Indian side fills to over filling with spectators like a rock concert, both sides eager to one day see the border open for all.

Pakistani and Indian soldiers hold guard over their respective sides of the border.
