Swallow's nest organ, Cologne cathedral

The so-called swallow's nest organ was dedicated in 1998. The organ, which weighs 30 tons, is suspended in front of the north wall of the nave, but does not touch it. The organ has a total of 3963 pipes, and it hangs on 4 steel rods, each with a diameter of 35mm, and these rods are anchored in the roof - a real masterpiece of organ building and engineering. It also sounds magnificent!
