Salt Marsh Resiliency - Hurricane Sandy

Following Super Storm Sandy, funding was made available through the Office of the Secretary for mitigation activities.

Salt marsh areas within four coastal parks in the Northeast Region (Fire Island NS, Assateague Island NS, Gateway National Recreation Area, and Cape Cod NS) were selected for data collection and resiliency modeling with the hope to incorporate these results into better park management and mitigation goals.
