My old and well used 4-quart Corningware dutch oven which I use to bake the no-knead bread. It is more than large enough, the bread fills about half of the pot. I bought it at Goodwill and it has slightly discolored in the hot oven, it was looking pretty good before I got my hands on it. It has a wide rim all the way around the top which makes it so easy to lift and move, I love the way it's designed.
Does anybody happen to know if I can use this on a stovetop? (Electric, unfortunately, in my case.) I'd like to use it to do stews, but I don't want to crack it while finding out.
