PhC_96_14 Cupola House, Edenton, NC, c.1905

The Cupola House is the oldest surviving house in Edenton and the only colonial-era house from the south to have a Jacobean overhang on the second story. The house was built in 1725 but was remodeled in the 1750s by owner Francis Corbin, land agent for the Earl of Granville.
