Cool mural on a wall in South Haven. Believe it or not, the street is level, the building is straight and level, but the mural is painted in perspective such that from this direction, the mural looks straight.

Colors are gorgeous. Is there a way that the tree branches could have been excluded from HDR treatment (sourced from just one image) so that their movement wouldn't result in duplicate branches?

    9. norjam8 88 months ago | reply

Andrew - Yes, it is possible to remove the branches from from all but the primary exposure using Photoshop, but it is a lot of work and subject to it's own pitfalls. If the branches were more of a focal point, I would have worked on it, but the wall and sky were my focus and I chose not to go for perfection on this one. Thanks for the comment and question. - norm

Norm - Understood, and I'm just trying to learn the ins and outs of HDR techniques. I wouldn't be here if I didn't like the images.

"And now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, O LORD, have given me." (Deuteronomy 26.10a NIV) Tony Louwerse is probably thinking Thanksgiving for this Sunday evening. Everyone will be hungry by the time church is over, thanks to you!
