Wabash Heritage

Here is an image from this morning in Centralia, Mo., as the NS "Wabash" heritage unit poses with the Columbia Star Dinner Train's engine. The dinner train operates on the Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) out of Columbia, Missouri.
The paint scheme as seen on this "F unit" is the design that was referenced for the painting of the NS heritage unit.

I sure would have loved to have known about this, I hope it's repeated for the public.

Great shot NS! Even though the blues don't match, the general design of the paint scheme does and that's all that matters. I was able to shoot the 1070 while it was in New Haven,IN Labor Day weekend, thus crossing off another must see heritage unit on my list :)
