Moot Hall

Moot Hall, Aldeburgh, Suffolk

Now standing on the seafront, this important building was once in the centre of town before coastal erosion exposed it. Originally constructed in the 1520s, the brick nogging was added in the 1650s. It is in two storeys, the lower one an indoor market originally, the upper one the council meeting chambers.
