    Beautifully caught.

    But what are the women doing with their hands? The one on the left seems to be playing an invisible piano with her eyes shut; the one on the right is trying to lift the table.

    And who is the Man in the White Suit?

    I think the woman on the left is the mother, , and the nurse on the right is holding the table steady to get an accurate reading. probably, the mother is holding it steady too. The man in the white jacket is probably meant to be a Doctor - the window remembers the woman who ran the Norfolk nursing service, and is probably intended to foreground that role.
