Today, in the mail, came my HVL-42AM flash, by Sony.
I was excited, I really was. So tonight I spent a little bit under an hour, as I still have jizz-loads of work to complete, fiddling around with it, and I must say, it's pretty awesome.
Lighting's a pretty cool path. You can change a lot about a photo, just by changing the lighting.
So as it stands, I have a new something that I'm absolutely-ridiculously noob at. It shall be a grand adventure.
So the subject, of course. This is a gridiron ball, which is not really found in Australia, given to me by a certain Canadian exchange student. He's a swell lad and even signed the ball for me. It sits with me at my computer, and I look at it everyday.
Heh, now I can do this:

I feel like a man now.
