Seljalandsfoss II - Icelandic Waterfalls Series - Iceland
This is the closing picture of my icelandic waterfalls series!
I would like to thanks those of you that have regularly followed the growing photo-stream during the last 5 months! Receiving positive comments from photographer that are clearly more capable than me has been really motivating!
Seljalandsfoss flows over the edge of a 60 meters high cliff and falls into a deep round pool. Seljalandsfoss is not only known for its breathtaking beauty but also for the possibility to walk behind it through a slippery path. The waterfall is visible from the highway (Rte 1) and it is easily accessible. Thus, you will have to share the view of its majesty with many other tourists.
The long exposure was taken thanks to my 10 stops ND Lee filter (the big stopper) mounted on a Hoya HD polarizer, which helped in reducing the reflections on the water surface.
