Polaris & Ursa Minor

Polaris (upper center) is the end of the Little Dipper's handle, the Big Dipper's much fainter twin. It's hard to see all of the Little Dipper's 7 stars without a very dark sky.

From Polaris the Little Dipper continues to the right and curves upward through 3 faint stars until you reach 2 slightly brighter stars that mark the outer edge of the dipper's bowl.
