River nearly dry, River Corrib, Co. Galway.

Mr O'Dea must have been in Galway at the end of a very dry and hot Summer. I know this spot really well and the norm at that time of year would show a full river with a very strong flow. Salmon fishing on this stretch was always some of the best available in Ireland.
