Evil Shed

Viewing large on black is manadatory!

Cactus and ruins at an old abandoned homestead in the west Texas ghost town of Eskota. The timbers in the foreground are the remains of the roof of an otherwise completely decayed shed. The roof now rests on the ground, but the floor of where the shed was is about 3-4 feet below ground level.

This is the same place with the Toxic Dump, located just to the right of the camera position in this shot. Access to the outhouse woud have been challenging if one were in a hurry.

Night, full moon, green-gelled xenon flashlight, red & yellow-gelled strobes. And no, the cactus is not unnaturally saturated; they were already green of course, but the green gel made them neon-surreal.
