The Mystery Building of Lawrence, Texas

This building, out in a field off by itself in Lawrence, Texas, is a curious little place. No one seems to know what it was used for. At present, the entire floor of the place is covered 2 and 3 deep with...wooden school desktops. According to another local explorer, at one point in the not too distant past the entire desks themselves were stacked up in there, perhaps indicating that the building was owned at that point by the local school district, but that would have been a re-purposing of this building...It's constructed more as a small industrial structure, certainly not a schoolhouse.

Anyway, the desktops have gotten wet and the particle board in the middle of them has expanded, so if they were saving them for something, they can forget about it now.

Night, mostly full moon, ambient mercury vapor light, natural xenon flashlight and red-gelled strobe. The angle of light from the mecury vapor and the angle from which I lit the tree pulled most of the leaves out of shadow, hence the detail and rich tone in the tree. White-balanced at 2500K.
