Indian Rock at Skiff Hill

Also called Sharpening Stone or Sharpening Rock, this 20 ton bolder was found in the marsh below it's present location at Skiff Hill in Eastham, MA. It is said to have been used by the Nauset Indians to sharpen tools and as a community grinding stone. (Feb 2014)
