Enter the Dome
366 day three.
With the weather being turdilicious at the moment I am more or less confined to doing stuff inside.
My initial plan was to put my Nikon on its back with the wide angle lens pointing straight up but it doesn't quite fit under my smaller dome maker. (The logistics of doing it within the superdome might be tricky too, but I will try later in the 366....). So it was time to enlist my Canon S95 and use the SDM functionality that I most commonly use for KAPing. It fitted quite snugly to the axis point and was able to catch the dome's intersection at its peak.
Although it is very simple, I'm happy that this ticks a few boxes in one hit:
- light painting-
- use of SDM script rather than shutter release (my S95 rocks)
- very possibly the first 'inside a dome' photo?
I fear another LP shot is coming tomorrow for day four if the forecast holds true......
