daily typesketch (concluded)
I'm setting out to sketch some type every day (well, whenever possible), in the wake of TYPO Berlin 2012, having realized that sketching really is a good way to try and play with rough ideas without instantly segueing into the depths of detail fiddling – and to learn more, by doing, about the myriad shapes that letters can take, and about how different design parameters can interact and combine.

So far these are mostly TypeCooker-based drawings with an x-height of typically 4 cm; I sometimes add other doodles too.

I know not all of this is «pretty» – I see it as a documentation of process (and hopefully progress), an exploration of type-space that is not only allowed but supposed to take me outside my comfort zone.

Ordered here, currently, from oldest through newest.
