This took unreasonable amounts of time. But oh was it fun.

I would’ve gone thinner and crazier and stuff (and maybe more experimental with the monoline-but-flaring thing, like with what I tried in the 2) but hey it’s for newsprint. Oh, TypeCooker. :)

BTW, felt like my monoline-drawing-fu improved considerably from that leftmost swash to the right side one. Practice strikes quick, it seems.

TypeCooker «pro» recipe:

width: normal

weight: extra light

construction: proportional oldstyle figures

stroke endings: rounded, no serif

ascender: shorter than normal

descender: longer than normal

contrast type: transitional

contrast amount: no contrast at all (thick == thin)

stems: flaring

intended application: newsprint

intended size: reading sizes

special: initial and terminal swashes
