There is construction work everywhere in Addis Abeba, but a lot of buildings remain unfinished due to lack of money. The work is started with support of the government, but the owners prefer foreign investments and send the money to other countries.

However the salaries are paid as long as the work continues. Then the workers must find a new job on a new location, probably not too difficult.
