Honey Bees on the Comb

Unable to use flash and a speed of just 1/3 of a second those busy bees just wouldn't stay still to be photographed.

:) the bees are hard workers and so busy. Nice capture....by the way I have to eat some honey :)

Amazing photograph. The motion-blurring of the bees suggests that they are hard at work and makes the image so much better. The lighting of the individual cells of the cones, all equally spaced and framed, is superb!

    Wow GORGEOUS capture!!

well, the motion gives a good idea of their busy lifestyle :-) great pattern on the cells.

    Looks like yellow bubble-wrap :-)
I wonder if using a slower shutter speed to add even more movement would've worked too?

Having the motion blur of the bees against the sharp cells add to the image well captured.
Seen on your photo stream. (?)
