Yellow Paintbrush 2

This photo was taken at 11,300-feet elevation in the Upper Tomichi Valley, just a few hundred feet below Tomichi Pass. Indian Paintbrush petals vary from light yellow through dark yellow, through several shades of orange, through several shades of pink, through red, to magenta. Light yellow is the least common, and the most difficult to photograph.
