More tea, sir?

Newer Older

I haven't done a multiplicity shot for a while so just whipped up one tonight. I had an idea I had brewing for a while so just executed it.

It's probably the tougher of the ones I've done for various reasons and I made the biggest mistake of not setting up a plain background plate so it got a bit tricky.

Here's the rest of my Multiplicity efforts.

Talking to yourself again, Steve? I'm beginning to worry.

    Nice work, though!!!

Haha, actually I thought of you for this photo. Was hoping to have a token slice of baclava as a foreground object. But the fridge is bare. :(

Very cool, though I'm very surprised to see a Liverpool FC mug taking centre stage!

Don't be too surprised Geoff, that's very common around these parts. ;)

    @darth - Thank you.

@SFK - Thank you, it took a bit of work but the end result is what counts.

@mrgadget - Just add water arnold. Just add water.

@evvvvs - Open your eyes and see.

@Mad Milka - Thank you, I've still got a ways to go before I'm happy with it but I'll keep honing my skills. Thanks for the encouragement.

Dude. This is brilliant. You must have busted your ass working on that pour.

Thanks Rob, actually it was probably the easiest part of the shoot.

Idea for a multiplicity shot? a few days.
Set up tripod and take snaps? a few minutes.
Paint out layers using masks? about an hour.

Upload to flickr and watch peoples responses as they are amazed how they realise how easy it is to do? priceless.

    That's fantastic!
I was thinking of doing one with a wine glass and wine bottle, but never could solve the problem of where the wine goes when I'm getting the pouring shot. Great job of solving this.
