Eiffel Tower

    Newer Older

To celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary a little early we spent Wednesday of our trip in Paris. Every time we come to Paris we have to stop and visits Casey's favorite spot, the Eiffel Tower. The sky was just perfect for a long exposure. It was a wonderful day.

Wow, really awesome Nick. I'll be there next week for the first time. Any suggestions on places to see for photographers?

      Hey Zeb.

Honestly I can't think of anything photography specific to visit. The whole city is amazingly photogenic. It has to be one of my favorite places in the world. I can recommend you check out the Musée d'Orsay that was both my wife and my favorite museum. I would just recommend you take some time and just explore the city and the side streets - it's quite fantastic. Also, don't be afraid to take the metro it can get you just about anywhere in the city. We always buy our passes in advance and have it for multiple days - it's way better going that route from the airport than taking a cab (in my opinion).

My last recommendation: On our last trip there we found the most amazing boulangerie on our last trip:

      Boulangerie Martin‎
      40 Rue Saint-Louis en l'Île
      75004 Paris, France
      09 63 42 55 47

They had the best Pain au Chocolat I think I have ever had.

Have a terrific trip! I can't wait to see the images from it.

Great and original ND filter usage... close clouds moving effect adds dynamism to such an static subject... on top, tight frame also projects some drama, like as the tower was imprisoned: nothing as far from reality... in summary, truly a gift for any photographer´s eyes... most liked EiffelTower picture I have ever seen.
