    Newer Older

Alan Do, a third-year pharmacy student and Co-Chair for California Northstate University College of Pharmacy's American Pharmacist Association & California Pharmacist Association Generation Rx. held an NDAFW event on January 25th, 2019. Kai (the other co-chair), Jeffrey (another executive board member for APhA/CPhA) and Alan went to UC Davis to provide Opioid Misuse and Abuse education along with information about Naloxone. They informed the students that visited their table the dangers of Opioid Abuse and the Signs & Symptoms to look out for when a person is overdosing on Opioids. They also educated them on what Narcan (naloxone) does as a rescue device and how important it is in any life-saving situation. This was a thrilling event and they look forward to next year as well.
