An on going project that started off as a collaboration with my friend Melanie for an assignment, we discussed what is considered “beauty”
We are constantly forced to fit into “molds” or given the faces of iconic figures to shape and create how we are suppose to look or be. We attempt to recreate ourselves, but the truth is you cannot. In projecting iconic figures upon another face forces us to see how it becomes disturbing and almost haunting as it is not a part of you and that it will never properly fit because is not you. It poses a question of identity and perhaps the realization that the best and only face that will ever fit is your own.
